Mr. Utsav Parekh is an Investment Banker and an entrepreneur with thirty five years of experience.

He is one of the main Promoters and Chairman of SMIFS Capital Markets Limited, a pioneering Investment Banking company from Kolkata and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange of India.

Mr. Utsav Parekh, in partnership with Changi International Airports and Government of West Bengal (India), has also promoted M/s Bengal Aerotropolis Projects Limited. This company is the first to develop a private airport in India near Durgapur in West Bengal (India), along with an integrated township and commercial hub. This is the first project of this kind in India with investments in excess of Rs. 1.2 Billion.

He also owns several iconic real estate projects in and around Kolkata.

He is also a Director on the board of many other public listed companies like Mcleod Russel (India) Limited, Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, Xpro India Limited, Spencers Retail Limited etc.

Being a passionate sports person he has invested in a football team in India, which is part of the newly formed Indian Super League (ISL). The club ‘Atletico De Kolkata’ became the champions of the inaugural year of the league.
He has also recently invested in a table tennis team in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league in India. The club is known as the RPSG Mavericks.
